Terrain, ability and group
Prerequisites: you must already hold the CASI Level 2, must hold CASI Park 1 or take it prior to the course, and be a current CASI member.
All riders should be advanced on groomed runs, off piste, and in the terrain park and be able to show your students high quality demos in various terrain and conditions.
You will receive personal riding feedback while getting lots of mileage (including video analysis), observe coach led example lessons, participate and lead practice lessons, and discuss CASI course content and methodologies.
The number of weeks you will need to prepare is very individual and will depend on your riding level and any previous level 3 training and experience teaching within a snow school.

Long-term course accommodation is the Pro Ride camp house in Brio, 800m walking distance from Whistler Village and a short walk to the Whistler Village Gondola. The large chalet house has a large kitchen, dining area and living room, a snowboard storage area, a snowboard tuning room, laundry facilities, flat screen TV with cable and Apple TV, free high speed internet and complimentary off-street parking.

Getting There
Book flights into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Pro Ride arranges door-to-door transport from YVR to Whistler and it is included in the program.
Try to arrive between 10am and 4pm on the Saturday and depart after 12 noon on the last day of your program. The last transfer from YVR to Whistler is 6pm, so allow time to collect bags and clear customs.
Return transfers are not included in your camp but can be added at any time before or after you arrive.
Pickups from select locations in downtown Vancouver can be arranged on request.
You can arrive in Whistler earlier or later, but Pro Ride accommodation starts on your camp start date, which is always a Saturday. Arriving a day late still means no missed training, as all sessions start on the Monday after arrival.
