Terrain, ability and group
This week is best suited to women who:
• Comfortably ski blue runs and most red runs in parallel
• Can control their speed using turn shape rather than braking
• Are comfortable skiing for a full day on the mountain
• Are interested in developing confidence in powder and variable snow.
You don’t need previous powder skiing experience, but you should be comfortable skiing independently on groomed terrain and willing to challenge yourself in new conditions.
Topics may include:
• Balance and stance
• Edging and pressure management
• Turn shape and speed control
• Skiing variable snow conditions
• Introduction to powder skiing
• Terrain choice and mountain tactics
• Building confidence away from groomed runs
• Adapting technique to different snow conditions
While no ski holiday can guarantee snowfall, January has historically offered the deepest and most consistent snow conditions of the season. Last winter alone, Niseko received over four metres of snowfall during January.

Accommodation, travel and itinerary
Accommodation
You will stay at The Miru Niseko in beautiful Lodge 10, with twin-share rooms for all guests. The tatami room will become our morning yoga and movement space, while the open-plan lounge and dining area gives us plenty of room to relax together after skiing.
Located a short drive from the slopes and the famous onsens of the Annupuri area, the lodge offers a peaceful base to enjoy both the skiing and slower side of Niseko life.
Breakfast: The chalet kitchen is stocked with fresh bread, and Hokkaido sourced bacon, eggs, fruit, Yogurt — and I’ll add extras based on your preferences.
Lunch: We’ll stop at my favourite mountain cafés each day — so bring a little pocket money and a big appetite!
Dinner: All dinners are included and thoughtfully planned: Omakase courses, izakaya nights, and private-chef evenings shared in our cozy chalet.

- 7:00 AM: Morning movement to wake up muscles and align posture for skiing.

Good To Know
Small group sizes allow plenty of individual feedback, and groups will be matched to ensure everyone is skiing with others of a similar ability level.
Applications are open, and I’ll work with each applicant to make sure the group is a good fit.
Niseko’s onsens are world-class, especially in the Annupuri area just 10 minutes from our chalet. I’ll guide you through Japanese onsen etiquette and introduce you to my favourite local hot springs.
