When it comes to heli-skiing, small groups are best. That’s why our groups are max four guests to one guide, always. If there are one, two or three skiers in your party, you’ll be grouped with one or more other guests to form your foursome.

- Great Canadian Heli-Skiing is fortunate to have an exclusive licence to a vast 50- by 45-kilometer piece of prime heli-skiing terrain across the Selkirks and Purcells.
- Average run length: 1,500 to 2,500 vertical feet (460 to 760 metres)
- Most of the bowls we ski are in “the alpine,” meaning the area above the treeline.
Ability
- To get the most out of your experience, we recommend that you be at least a strong intermediate resort skier before booking a heli-skiing adventure.
- We’ll group you with guests who best match your interests and abilities—so you can go at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

Where you stay
This package includes accommodations for the duration of your stay in a double occupancy Mountain View room at Heather Mountain Lodge, our alpine-luxe escape. Upgrades for single occupancy and mountain cabins available.
Single room upgrade is $175 CAD per night. Private cabin upgrade is $320 CAD per night single or $175 per person per night double occupancy.
Getting There
Halfway between Golden and Revelstoke, Heather Mountain Lodge is one of Canada’s most accessible heli-skiing destinations. Calgary International Airport is a simple—and scenic—four-hour drive from our front door.
Heather Mountain Lodge is 55 kilometers or 45 minutes west of Golden.
Check-in time is 4 pm and dinner is served at 7 pm, so book your flights accordingly.
