Terrain, ability and group
Extremely Canadian is geared towards adventurous advanced-intermediate to expert riders. If you can ride an un-groomed "Black Diamond" run at your home hill, then you belong with us! Riders are placed in small groups of similar ability, combined with a serious amount of vertical, guaranteed improvement, tired legs, make for an unforgettable ski experience. Participants must be 19 years of age or older. This program does not mix skiers and snowboarders; we are able to accommodate in our Private Steeps Clinics.
With two massive mountains, each providing an overwhelming variety of terrain to explore, it’s easy to spend your day searching for the goods instead of getting out there to shred them. Whether you’re looking to step up to steeper terrain, flow through the forest, charge a pillow field, or simply ride with confidence on the best that Whistler-Blackcomb has to offer, these camps are for you.

Getting There
Meeting time and place is 8:15 AM or 8:45 AM on the deck of the Carleton Lodge in the main village between the gondolas. If you prefer a different meeting time or place, please advise and we will do our best to accommodate.
Itinerary
December 12, 2026 – February 12, 2027
Day 1: 8:45 AM: Meet your Extremely Canadian coach at Carleton Lodge for check-in. 9:00 AM: Head to the gondola and make our way up the mountain. 9:30–10:30 AM: Warm up on groomed terrain before progressing to our separator run, Ratfink. This helps us group participants with similar goals and ability levels. 11:30 AM: Lunch break. 3:00–3:30 PM: Finish the day, depending on the time of year and available daylight.
Day 2: 8:45 AM: Meet your Extremely Canadian coach and group on the Carleton Lodge Patio. 9:00 AM: Leave the deck and head up Blackcomb Mountain. 11:30 AM: Lunch break at your guide’s discretion. 3:00–3:30 PM: Head to Merlin’s Bar & Grill for après! Join your Extremely Canadian crew for a drink, some après, and Extremely Canadian swag.
February 13, 2027 – April 11, 2027: the same two days run with an 8:15 AM meeting time and an 8:30 AM departure from the Carleton.

Due to the change in daylight saving time, there will be varying meeting times throughout the season.
You do not require avalanche safety gear in the Steeps Clinic. You are staying within the resort boundaries, which is avalanche controlled by patrol.
Group programs are for guests aged 19 and older.
All participants will be required to sign a waiver for each adventure; please review the document thoroughly prior to signing.
You will receive a 100% refund or you can reschedule your adventure date up to 48 hrs prior to your activity date. If you have to cancel within 48h of your activity, we will issue a 50% refund.
We do not request proof of insurance coverage, but please ensure that you have appropriate coverage. We highly suggest that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.
All rates are quoted in Canadian currency and are subject to taxes. Full payment is due upon booking.
