Day by day
- Step 1: Otaru and SapporoTransfer by minivan to Otaru and stay in a seaside four-star hotel, using it as a base for nearby resorts including Kiroro. Continue to Sapporo for surrounding ski areas such as Kokusai and Teine, followed by a rest day for sightseeing, shopping and food.
- Step 2: Kamui and AsahidakeRide Kamui, then travel to traditional accommodation in the national park. Spend the next three days around Asahidake, with Japanese meals and onsen visits. Furano is an alternative if stormy weather prevents the planned skiing.
- Step 3: TokyoFinish with two nights in a four-star hotel in central Tokyo for sightseeing, shopping and nightlife.
