Chatter Creek is the ultimate playground for thrill-seekers who crave unparalleled cat-skiing in one of the world’s largest and snowiest destinations.
Each snowcat seats up to 12 guests and two guides, and sets out each morning to explore everything from tight, technical tree skiing to expansive alpine bowls and breathtaking glaciers. At any one time, this vast area is shared by no more than 42 guests and their guides.

- The cat-skiing terrain at Chatter Creek is a gigantic domain covering 58,000 acres or 235 square kilometers providing incredible variety, with over 100 named descents and runs of up to 4,000 vertical feet.
- Our snowcat road network is close to 200 km and provides access to terrain that includes a mix of tree skiing, vast alpine bowls and spectacular glaciers.
Snow
- Chatter Creek’s unique location on the western slopes of the Canadian Rockies benefits from a unique air mass which produces some of the lightest, driest powder snow in the world.
- We receive numerous major storms crossing the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains to the west, which grant us reliable snow from early December to late April.

Good To Know
For early season tours commencing on or before December 13th, a full cash refund will be issued if the tour is cancelled due to early season conditions. For all other tours commencing from December 14th to the end of the operating season, the standard booking and cancellation policy applies.
Please note, all guests must wear airbag packs provided by Chatter Creek. Personal airbag packs are not allowed.
Chatter Creek provides every guest with an airbag, beacon, probe and shovel. We also supply a radio for everyone. Please, note that these items are mandatory to use to be able to ski with us.
