The advanced ski course is for advanced level skiers who already have the skills required to ski most off-piste snow conditions. Typically, you can get around ok off-piste, but are looking to improve your general off-piste skiing.

Terrain
  • During the advanced ski courses, we will ski some of Chamonix’s best off piste terrain, all accessible by the ski lifts. Sometimes, a short hike to the very top can provide us with a better descent.
  • This course typically involves around 70% off-piste skiing time and 30% on piste skiing (conditions may affect this).

  • Ski instruction & guided off-piste descents, typically 9am – 3:45pm (timing may vary with weather). 1hr off for lunch
  • Skiing video analysis with personalised feedback sessions.
  • Ski-lift queue priority (on some lifts & in busy times) to find powder fast.
  • Off-piste & avalanche safety training.

Avalanche safety equipment (transceiver, shovel and probe) are mandatory. This can be hired locally. We will also practice use of this off-piste safety equipment on the first day.

Important Note: Please ensure that you are at the minimum level or above for ski courses
