Terrain, ability and group
This trip is designed for Snowperformance level 3 to level 4 skiers only - skills need to be strong, and guests need to be fit and have the stamina to enjoy the exclusive access to the huge terrain. Skiing ranges from open high glacier skiing to well-spaced and steep tree and terrain runs amongst the many peaks of the Purcell and Selkirk ranges that make up Stellar's terrain. There are 4 skiers in each group of 3 groups per helicopter, led by Stellar's guides. Groups are organized by Snowperformance as equally skilled, speed- and personality-matched skiers.

Accommodation, travel and itinerary
Accommodation
Staying at the historic Kaslo Hotel, built in 1896 and now fully modernized. Large, spacious rooms feature high ceilings and walk-out balconies, evoking a European chateau, with mountain and lake vistas. The hotel offers excellent cuisine and hospitality. 4 nights of accommodation and all food are included.
Getting There
Kaslo, BC is about an hour north of Nelson, BC and 2.5 hours south of Revelstoke. Transport to and from Kaslo BC is not included. To fly in, the best airport is Spokane, then renting a car for a 4.5 hour drive north up the valley with no high mountain passes. Kelowna is an alternative, also about 4.5 hours away, but involves high mountain passes.
Itinerary
On arrival in Kaslo at the historic hotel, guests are welcomed by staff, shown their room and other facilities, served a meal, and briefed on the next 4 days. The next day starts with a breakfast feast, then a short trip to the Stellar hangar for ski fitting and avalanche and helicopter safety briefings, before heading out for the first day of skiing. After a day of powder skiing, gear is hung in the drying room at the hangar and the group returns to the hotel for apres, a cocktail at the bar, and a hot tub before another evening meal. On the evening of January 24, guests leave Kaslo or can book an extra night at the hotel. A Snowperformance expert coach is on this trip throughout to help things run smoothly and shoot video.
