This is a fantastic piste based course to really focus and refine the techniques for moguls, carving and all mountain skiing. Build on your skills and confidence to be ready to tackle the slopes like never before.

Groups will run in both mornings and afternoons and will switch around midweek. This gives you every opportunity to learn how to tackle different snow conditions.

Minimum requirements for this course: Intermediate skiers who can confidently ski red and easy black runs (level 4). Aspirations to improve and ski more of the mountain. Ability to get up unaided in the event of a fall.

High altitude snow sure skiing in Tignes and Val d'Isere. This is one of the biggest ski areas in the world, with skiing from 2100m – 3600m.

  • Accommodation – the Chalet Rosset week is sold as a paid 'Add-On' (£600.00 per person twin / £870.00 single occupancy)
  • Airport transfers – the Snoworks group transfer from Geneva is a paid 'Add-On' (£150.00)
  • Avalanche kit – unlike the off piste courses, this piste based course lists no avalanche kit
  • Lift passes – not mentioned on this course page

Accommodation

Accommodation options: We have accommodation in the Chalet Rosset, available to book as an 'Add-On' with your course booking, from Saturday 28 November for 7 nights. The cost is £600.00 per person sharing a twin room, or £870.00 for single occupancy, chalet board (one evening not catered).

We also have arranged a discount at the Hotel Le Refuge: Add the code SNOWORKS2027 in the subject line of your email, and you will receive a 10% discount on any stay from Sunday to Friday or Saturday only.

If you prefer to stay elsewhere we suggest accommodation in Val Claret, Le Lac or Le Lavachet.

Getting There

Meeting Point: In front of the Maison de Tignes, Le Lac. Monday 09:15 or 13:15.

Airport transfers: As this is a difficult time of year for transfers we are organising a Snoworks group transfer. The cost is £150.00 and you can book this as an 'Add-On' with your course booking. Transfers are from Geneva at set times: 28 November – depart Geneva at 1400; 5 December – arrive Geneva at 1030.

Will I be skiing with people of a similar skiing standard? Yes, this is our aim. Our instructors arrange groups of skiers that will complement each other to progress and improve.
