Itinerary
This itinerary is an example. The tour will be run largely by the weather and each day will fit around where the best conditions are.
DAY 1
(arrival and check-in day)
Upon landing at Sapporo’s Chitose Airport you’ll be transferred by Resort Liner to the Hirafu Welcome Centre. We will coordinate your transport onward to your accommodation at Always Niseko. That night you’ll meet our team who will run you through the tour, weather and answer any questions you have before arrival night welcome drinks and dinner.
(NOTE: If you wish to organise rental equipment it is advised that you try to arrive with enough time on the arrival day to be fitted – seek advice from your consultant)
DAY 2
(first ski day)
First day exploring Niseko! For your first day on snow your guides will kick things off with a warm up lap before we start to hunt around for powder stashes to enjoy at Grand Hirafu. There’s a huge amount of terrain to explore across Niseko United and a vast lift network connecting 4 resorts. At the end of the day, we will all enjoy a traditional Japanese meal and a few drinks.
DAY 3
Today we’ll show you just how big Niseko is! We’ll head to Niseko Annupuri at the start of the day, ski and ride through their fun gladed zones, explore the upper mountain, and maybe even opt for the buffet lunch!
DAY 4
Day tour to Rusutsu Resort. We will spend the day guiding you through the trees and valleys of Rusutsu, as well as their very quirky hotel! With multiple gladed ridgelines to explore and an extensive lift network, there’s plenty of terrain to enjoy.
DAY 5
Pack your onsen gear and a snorkel as we’ll be heading off to Kiroro today where your guide will show you some great powder stashes. This powder gem has some awesome terrain and often receives even more snowfall than Niseko!. An onsen on the way home is also a popular option and a great way to end the day.
DAY 6
Fresh snow on the ground and it’s looking like another day at Rusutsu. You should now be well and truly warmed up to Japow skiing and riding, so we may even look to start hitting some of the many natural features in Rusutsu for a bit extra fun!
DAY 7
It’s our last day on snow and we’re off to Hanazono at Niseko United, where we’ll head to the upper part of the mountain for fresh turns and enjoy the stunning view of Mt Yotei. We wind up the tour tonight with our farewell dinner with plenty of fun memories and a drink or two.
DAY 8
(check out and departure day)
Time to check out and say goodbye to your new friends and transfer to Sapporo’s Chitose Airport for your flight home. If you have a later flight you can even sneak in a few more laps in the morning!
