Terrain, ability and group
Skill Level: Intermediate to Expert
Terrain: Trees, playful lines, deep days
Akakura Onsen & Akakura Kanko (Akakan): Two interconnected resorts right above the lively Akakura village — the heart of the Myoko region, with a great mix of gentle groomers, tree runs, and luxurious ski-in/ski-out accommodations.
Madarao Onsen: 60% of the courses are ungroomed, so there's a good chance you'll enjoy fluffy, deep powder — and far less competition for the slopes.
Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort: Massive natural snowfall (10–12m annually), a 400-year-old hot spring village, and diverse terrain — over 36 runs spanning 1,085m of vertical, from the wide Uenotaira slopes to the steep Challenge 39° wall.

Itinerary
We focus our energy on a region where rugged, advanced terrain meets old-school Japanese heritage, establishing our basecamp in the legendary Myoko Japanese Alps area — within striking distance of Honshu's most iconic vertical drops.
Over five intense days of riding, we'll conquer a diverse rotation of world-class peaks: the legendary tree runs and playful powder pillows of Madarao Onsen, the long scenic fall lines of Akakan right on the slopes of Mt. Myoko, and the massive vertical layout and historic terrain of Nozawa Onsen. Before heading to the slopes, you'll enjoy the city vibes of Tokyo — and if you want to join even earlier, you can join the full 17-day experience.
