Terrain, ability and group
Kiroro resort gets a ridiculous amount of powder each winter and shines in its tree skiing and side country opportunities.
Kamui Ski Links, owned by the town of Asahikawa, offers world-class powder and a laid-back atmosphere, making it a top choice for local skiers and riders.
Pippu Ski Resort offers a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere while remaining a hidden gem for powder enthusiasts.
We'll handle the logistical outline but you choose the activity for each day, whether it's an action-packed day at the resort, a mellow day of ski touring, or a rest day to scope out the local attractions.
By contrast, our unguided Hokkaido Indy Trips and Tohoku Indy trips accept anyone of any skill level and are a great fit for beginner or intermediate riders!

Getting There
Getting There - There are two options to meet the group:
Option 1: Meet at CTS Airport at 1pm on Day 1 in front of the MOS Burger on the 1st floor of the Arrivals lobby, next to Arrivals Gate #2.
Option 2: Meet in the lobby of the OMO7 Hotel in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, at 4:30pm on Day 1 of your trip.
Getting Back - The drop-off at the end of this trip is the same as the pick-up point. Unless you want to get off at Otaru train station at 5:00pm, the drop-off point is CTS Airport at 6:30pm. To allow for delays due to road closures related to snow/blizzard conditions, do not get a departing domestic flight that leaves earlier than 8:00pm or an international departing flight that leaves earlier than 9:00pm.
Alternate Endings - If you want to continue on to ski Niseko at the end of your trip, you can catch a 6:22pm train from Otaru Station that gets into Kutchan Station at 7:49pm.
Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival logistics. Pickup is at Hokkaido's CTS Airport at 1pm. After pickup, transfer to the Hoshino OMO7 hotel, located in the middle of Asahikawa city--the gateway for skiing in central Hokkaido. On the evening of day 1, we'll have a big welcome dinner together to kick off the trip!

- Day 5Tomamu. Ski out of our slopeside accommodation at the base of Tomamu. If you want a break from skiing, you can catch a short shuttle ride to a huge wave pool and great onsen hot springs, free for anyone staying at the hotel.
- Day 6Mt Racey [Transfer Day]. Check out of our Tomamu hotel early and head to our final base of Otaru via a ski stop at Mount Racey, an Indy Pass member resort.
- Day 7Kiroro. Kiroro resort gets a ridiculous amount of powder each winter and shines in its tree skiing and side country opportunities. The resort is accessed each day via our privately chartered bus (45min).
- Day 8Sapporo Kokusai. Ski Sapporo Kokusai--located just across the mountain range from Kiroro, it receives comparable snowfall but sees far fewer crowds. On our final evening, we'll wrap up the trip with a group yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) dinner.
- Day 9Kiroro [Transfer Day]. After a final ski day at Kiroro, it's time to head back to CTS airport via Otaru train station for the drop-off. Our bus leaves Kiroro at 4pm, arriving at Otaru train station at 5:00pm and CTS airport at 6:30pm.
