Our first timers week is specifically designed for advanced and expert skiers who want to move beyond the resort, but want to do so with some additional support and guidance. Half of the lodge will be on the first time program, running on an independent schedule and determining the ideal terrain for the group.

- If you’re in the first timer’s group, you’ll receive additional pointers to familiarize yourself with the helicopter and support skiing in backcountry terrain from our expert guides.

Getting There
Halfway between Golden and Revelstoke, Heather Mountain Lodge is one of Canada’s most accessible heli-skiing destinations. Calgary International Airport is a simple—and scenic—four-hour drive from our front door.
Heather Mountain Lodge is 55 kilometers or 45 minutes west of Golden.
Check-in time is 4 pm and dinner is served at 7 pm, so book your flights accordingly.
