Monte Rosa is the perfect place to kick off the ski season.

Long descents, 4,000-metre peaks and an authentic alpine atmosphere that's becoming harder and harder to find. During the day we'll explore one of the Alps' best hidden gems, while the evenings are dedicated to ski touring fundamentals and mountain safety workshops that will stay with you long after the trip ends.

The Ski Area
  • We ski across three connected resorts of Alagna, Gressoney and Champoluc, reaching elevations above 3,000 metres with just a handful of lifts.
  • Glaciers, long descents and impressive vertical drops make Monte Rosa a paradise for skiers, yet it remains one of the Alps’ best-kept secrets.
The Focus
  • This weekend is all about preparing for the season ahead. We explore the best parts of the ski area, rebuild our confidence on snow and lay the foundations for the freeride season to come.
  • The main focus is mountain safety, with evening workshops covering avalanche awareness and ski touring fundamentals. If conditions allow, we complement the theory with optional off-piste skiing.

We reserve the right to change the program. The final program plan depends on the weather, snow conditions, ski/snowboard skills and stamina of the team.

  1. Day 1: ArrivalOnce everyone arrives, we settle into the villa, enjoy our first dinner together and go through the plan for the days ahead. The first mountain stories start flowing, maps come out, and it's not long before the conversation turns to tomorrow's skiing.
  2. Days 2–4: Skiing Monte RosaWe spend the next three days skiing. Every morning, we decide whether to head towards Alagna, Gressoney or Champoluc based on the latest snow and weather conditions, so we always make the most of the mountain. During the day, we explore Monte Rosa's best runs, stop at our favourite mountain huts, or join an optional avalanche beacon practice session. Everyone is free to shape the day their own way, whether that means skiing with others from morning to afternoon or taking things at a slower pace. In the evenings, we come back together for relaxed workshops on ski touring and avalanche safety.
  3. Day 5: Last runs before heading homeAfter breakfast, everyone wraps up the weekend at their own pace. If you can't get enough of Monte Rosa, you can grab an extra lift pass and spend one more day on the mountain. Or take it easy, wander through the streets of Alagna and enjoy one last espresso before heading home. Your ski legs are now ready for the season.

Four nights in an authentic alpine villa, in 2-4 person apartments.

We stay in a restored late 19th-century villa in one of the alpine villages of the Valsesia Valley. The spacious 2–4 person apartments provide a comfortable base for the weekend. Every morning we drive to Alagna.

The apartments come with fully equipped kitchens.

Getting There

Meeting point: Alagna Valsesia, Italy

We meet at our accommodation in the village of Campertogno during the day.
