Overview

Start your season off right. December snow conditions in the esplanade always deliver and provide a good opportunity to get your legs under you and get 'coached' by some pros. This is basically a 4 day guided catered trip but with the addition of a ski pro on the trip. Eric Hjorleifson has spearheaded these camps and are coming up on 10 years of running with mostly returning guests.

Accommodation

Maximize your day! ACMG certified guides get you to the goods netting you the best/most skiing for the least walking. After the day out when you get back to the hut, appetizers are served and waiting for you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. All you have to do is ski and relax.

Getting There

Trip prices include round trip helicopter flights from GAH staging to the lodge of your choice. GAH Office / GAH Staging address: #104- 806, 9th Street North, Golden BC.

4 Day December Freeride Camps - Includes Lodging, Heli Transfer, Food with Chef, Guides, and Taxes. Sunrise - $2400 per person / Sentry - $2650 per person.

December trips run on 4 day intervals while the rest of the season runs 7 day trips (Friday to Friday).

All prices whether Lodge Rental or Guided and Catered are subject to applicable tax.

Winter 2026/2027 Freeride Camp session dates: Dec 3-7, Dec 7-11, Dec 11-15 (Sunrise: FRC - 2 spots), Dec 15-19 (Sunrise: FRC - 5 spots). Contact GAH for current availability by lodge.
