Terrain, ability and who it is for
- For this freeride trip, you must have a good level of off-piste ski touring skills and have previously attempted similar activities. Depending on the participants' physical and technical level and the snow and weather conditions, the mountain guide will adapt the outings to ensure you enjoy them to the fullest. Day by day
- Day 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFERMost international flights arrive early in the morning to Bishkek, where a member of our team will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the Jyrgalan Valley. The transfer takes over 8 hours and follows the northern shore of Lake Issyk Kul. We’ll make several stops in Cholpon Ata and Karakol to rest, eat, and do some last-minute shopping before arriving in Tom Jyrgalan in the evening. Meal: dinnerAccommodation: local house
- Days 2–6: FREERIDE CATSKIING IN THE JYRGALAN VALLEYA typical catski day starts at 08:00 with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day. By around 09:30, we’ll be geared up and ready to board the catski. We’ll take a picnic-style lunch to the mountain for a quick break, making the most of the skiing day. We return to the accommodation around 16:30 to shower, enjoy the sauna, and have a well-earned beer. Dinner is served at 19:30. A typical catski day can include up to 3,500 meters of vertical drop over 6–8 runs with our powerful Pistenbully catskis.Accommodation: local houseMeals: breakfast + lunch + dinner
- Day 7: RETURN TRANSFER TO BISHKEKReturn transfer along the southern shore of Lake Issyk Kul to Bishkek. We’ll stop at several spots, including the Fairy Tale Canyon, for a short hike before reaching our hotel in Bishkek. Meal: breakfastAccommodation: Hotel
- Day 8: RETURN FLIGHTAt the agreed time, transfer from the hotel to the airport. It’s time to say goodbye to an incredible week of skiing in Central Asia. Meal: breakfast
