  • Despite the high proportion of sunny days the snow generally stays in very good condition due to the north facing aspect of the slopes.
  • Serre Chevalier has a total of 68 lifts giving access to over 250km of piste with an excellent selection across the grades.

The centre

The UCPA centre in Serre Chevalier is located at the foot of the piste in the main village of Villeneuve. You can ski straight from the centre in the morning and straight back to it in the evening, Villeneuve is also the ideal location from which to explore the valley with the best lift access and a good bus service.

The centre is one of nicest UCPA centres in a modern building with a fantastic sun deck overlooking the slopes and an outdoor heated pool (closed for the 23/24 season). All the usual UCPA services are present, with various social areas and a lovely bar for après ski drinks.

Multishare rooms

UCPA Serre Chevalier shared rooms are spacious, with most of them having been recently renovated. Most rooms have a sink and shower, with loos being shared on each floor. The rooms are in 3, 4 and 6 person capacities.

Groups who book together are typically roomed together in a combination that works. Solo travellers are usually roomed with people of similar age, gender and course. It is not possible to make specific rooming requests, but the centre will do their best to accommodate everyone.

Twin rooms

There are some twin rooms at UCPA Serre Chevalier, with each room having a shower and a sink, but shared loos on each floor. They are available to book for a supplement per person when making the booking. Please note single occupancy in twin rooms is not possible as courses are curated on a per bed basis.
