Overview

Explore the incredible beauty of the mountains, the sea, and Icelandic culture and hospitality. The stunning mountain range on the Troll peninsula offers over 4000 feet of vertical with runs from peak to sea. Snowperformance has been running this trip for 7 years with Viking Heli Ski, the premier heli-ski operation in Iceland. We charter a private helicopter from Viking and run 3 groups of 4, flying in a modern A Star B3 helicopter with fully qualified and experienced guides. The trip offers 75,000 feet of vertical for the group over 5 days, with more available on request. The tour runs in early to mid April, the best timing for weather and snowpack.

Accommodation

Staying at the Siglu Hotel, a luxury hotel located on the harbor on the Troll Peninsula in northern Iceland. 5 nights lodging and food are included.

Getting There

Transport to and from Akureyri, Iceland is included, as well as transport from and to Akureyri airport to the hotel. Guests are responsible for their own travel to Iceland and from Reykjavik (KEF) to Akureyri.
