Terrain, ability and group
You should be in very good shape and confident skiing steep and varied terrain and snow conditions, including powder, corn and hard pack. Participants must ski ungroomed black diamond runs without hesitation and have moderate ski touring or splitboarding experience, including efficient transitions, skinning steep terrain, and executing kick turns. You should be comfortable climbing 700-1000 meters (2,300-3,300 feet) per day, with the ability to handle up to 1,200 meters (4,000 feet). If you’re seeking remote boat accessed adventure and upscale lodging, this trip is for you.
Each day is both luxurious and wild: skinning from sea to summit, skiing untouched lines back to the ocean, then returning to a Nordic spa, chef-prepared meals, and the serenity of island life.
