Getting There
Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kalispell is the main access point to Whitefish and our basecamp.
All our multi-day package guests receive free round-trip shuttles from Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kalispell or downtown Whitefish as required to our lodging.
Travel Times from The Ranch, our base for multi-day trips: 15 minutes from GNPG’s snowcat basecamp; 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish; 15 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort; 20 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport

Good To Know
Cat skiing is a backcountry adventure, not a lesson. We do not offer trips for beginners or low-level intermediates.
Our Powder Cat has 12 guests with 2 guides, and our Steep & Deep Cat has 10 guests with 2 guides.
Most groups average 8–12 runs per day, depending on conditions and group ability.
Every skier and rider is assigned a beacon.
Shovels and probes carried by guides (we encourage all guests to bring their own)
Helmets (not provided, but strongly recommended for guests to bring their own)
For skiers we generally recommend a minimum of 105mm under foot or wider for optimal flotation. For snowboarders, aim for upsizing about 2-5cm.
Snowcat skiing is best suited for strong, fit skiers and riders age 16+. Younger guests may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they meet ability requirements and are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
To hold your spot, we ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days before your trip.
Because space is limited and our trips fill quickly, all payments are non-refundable.
A signed waiver is required for participation.
We strongly recommend purchasing Trip Cancellation or Interruption Insurance.
